Built Together
Scripture
“For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.” — 1 Corinthians 3:9 (NIV)
Paul’s illustration shifts from a field to a building. Buildings are never constructed by one person alone. They require architects, builders, laborers, inspectors, craftsmen, and countless others working together toward a shared vision. God’s Kingdom works the same way.
As God’s fellow workers, we each bring unique gifts that strengthen the body of Christ. Rather than competing with one another, we are called to celebrate the strengths God has given each person. Some serve publicly while others faithfully work behind the scenes. Neither role is more valuable than the other because every contribution helps build what God is creating.
When we stop comparing ourselves and begin collaborating with one another, the Church becomes stronger, our communities flourish, and Christ is glorified. Unity isn’t about everyone doing the same thing—it’s about everyone faithfully doing the part God has given them.

Who has God placed around you to build alongside? How can you encourage and strengthen someone else’s work today?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for surrounding me with fellow workers. Help me celebrate the gifts You’ve given others and use my own gifts to strengthen Your Kingdom. Teach me to build unity, encourage others, and serve with humility. Amen.
