Built on the Right Foundation
Scripture
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11 (NIV)
Every building depends on its foundation. A beautiful structure cannot stand if the foundation is weak. Likewise, confident, capable, Christian leaders are not built on talent, education, charisma, or success. They are built on Jesus Christ.
There will be seasons when your confidence is tested. Plans may change. Relationships may become difficult. Opportunities may disappear. If your confidence is built on circumstances, it will rise and fall with them. But if your confidence is anchored in Christ, you can remain steady because He never changes.
God calls us to build our lives with excellence, integrity, wisdom, and love, but always upon the unshakable foundation of Christ. When our identity rests in Him, we can lead courageously, serve joyfully, and persevere faithfully regardless of the season.

What has your confidence been resting on lately? How can you intentionally build today’s decisions upon the foundation of Jesus?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for being the firm foundation of my life. Help me build every decision, every relationship, and every responsibility upon You. When challenges come, remind me that my confidence rests in You alone. Amen.
