School is almost here!
That means new teachers, new classrooms, new friends, and new opportunities. While many people think school is only a place to learn math, reading, science, and history, God sees something even bigger…He sees a mission field.
Sometimes people say, “Kids are the future of the Church.” That’s partly true, but it’s not the whole story. Kids are part of God’s Church today. You don’t have to wait until you’re older to love Jesus, pray for people, encourage a friend, invite someone to church, or show kindness to someone who feels left out. God has chosen YOU to help build His Kingdom right now.
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3:9 that we are co-workers with God. Imagine that! The Creator of the universe invites us to work alongside Him. Building God’s Kingdom doesn’t always mean standing on a stage or becoming a pastor someday. Kingdom Builders…
help someone who is lonely.
forgive quickly.
pray for friends.
tell others about Jesus.
encourage classmates.
obey God even when it’s hard.
show love to everyone.
Every smile, every kind word, every invitation to church, every prayer, and every act of love is another brick in God’s Kingdom.
This school year, your classroom can become your mission field. God isn’t asking you to do everything, he’s simply asking you to be faithful where He has placed you.
Parents, you are the first spiritual gardeners in your child’s life. Every Bible story you read, every bedtime prayer, every conversation about Jesus, every Sunday morning, and every act of grace plants another seed. Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening.
Keep planting.
Keep watering.
Keep praying.
God specializes in making things grow.
As your children walk into a new school year, remember they aren’t just students, they are missionaries. Pray that they recognize opportunities to love others well and boldly live for Christ. You may never see every seed that grows, but God promises that your labor in Him is never wasted.
Kingdom Builder Challenge – Today, make a list of THREE classmates or friends that you want to pray for this entire year. Write their names somewhere you will see them often and commit to praying for them at least once a week this next school season. Ask God to help you love them as Jesus loves them.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for inviting us to help build Your Kingdom. Thank You that kids are not just the church of tomorrow—we are Your Church today. Help us see our classrooms as places where Your love can shine. Give us courage to be kind, bold enough to share our faith, and hearts that always look for ways to serve others.
For our parents, give them strength as they continue planting seeds of faith in our hearts. Bless every prayer they pray, every Bible story they read, and every conversation they have about You.
May our family work together as Kingdom Builders this school year.

Tomorrow we’ll discover that God doesn’t have an age requirement for making a difference. We’ll learn from 1 Timothy 4:12 that even children can lead others by the way they live, love, speak, believe, and serve.
