Building for Eternity

Scripture
“Each one should build with care.” — 1 Corinthians 3:10b (NIV)
Throughout this week we have discovered that we are God’s fellow workers, called to be faithful, built together, and firmly established on Christ. Paul now leaves us with one final challenge: build with care.
Everything we do leaves a legacy. The words we speak, the encouragement we give, the integrity we demonstrate, and the way we treat people become part of what we are building for God’s Kingdom. Confident, capable, Christian leaders understand that leadership is not about leaving a personal legacy—it is about leaving a Kingdom legacy that points people to Jesus.
No matter your role, title, job, or season of life, God has entrusted you with opportunities to influence others every day. A smile may restore hope. A prayer may strengthen someone’s faith. A lesson may shape a future leader. A quiet act of service may reveal Christ’s love in ways you’ll never fully know this side of heaven. Build each day with eternity in mind, knowing that God uses faithful people to accomplish extraordinary things.

Reflection:
If someone watched how you lived today, what would they learn about Jesus? What can you intentionally build into someone else’s life this week?

Prayer:
Gracious Father, thank You for allowing me to be part of building Your Kingdom. Help me build carefully, faithfully, and always upon Christ. May my life encourage others, strengthen Your Church, and bring glory to Your name. Use me to create confident, capable, Christian leadership wherever You have placed me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
