Friday: A Heart of Gratitude — He Is Risen
Scripture:
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6
Reflection:
Though the sorrow of the cross is fresh, we live in the victory of the resurrection. Jesus endured the cross, bore our sin, and conquered death, once and for all. The empty tomb is not just a moment in history; it is the foundation of our hope.
This truth changes everything. Because He lives, we have forgiveness. Because He lives, we have freedom. Because He lives, we have eternal life. What seemed like defeat became the greatest victory the world has ever known.
As we approach Easter Sunday, let gratitude fill your heart. No matter what you are facing today, remember, the story doesn’t end in darkness. Jesus is alive, and that means hope is alive too.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for the cross and the empty tomb. Thank You for Your sacrifice and the victory You secured for me. Help me to live each day in the joy and hope of Your resurrection. Amen.
